This week’s Soil team is piloting the Loam Warrior Portraits lesson.
Loam Warriors is something that happens on the Particle Size lesson on Soil. Students learn about the qualities of sand, silt, and clay, and what benefits each brings to healthy soil. They then mix the three into loam and apply it to their faces. Everyone’s loam markings are a little different!
Since soil is made up of a mix of different things, each with a different strength, we are asking students to think about what their strengths are, and what qualities they bring to their classrooms, cabins, and communities.
