This is an association simile poem by this week’s Plants team! It was written about the Big Leaf Maple Woods. I am celebrating as the season changes I am moving like curtains in the breeze I am vast and lush like a child’s imagination I am like toothpicks on an appetizer tray I am filled with quiet noises like the wind whistling through the trees I am variant like the winds I am real and breathing and brimming with life I am wild like bull riding I am full like a glass of milk before you drink it By: Saffron, Mandrake, Raindrops, Amethyst, Avalon, Ikiaka, Sycamore, Jingo, and Thuja.
